13 Kid Jokes for Christmas

As the school semester comes to a close, it's time for Christmas, and what says Christmas to kids more than jokes? (okay, lots of presents, but that's another person's list) Here are some my kindergarten through 4th grade students loved:

Crisp Cringle!

3. What do you call people who are afraid of Santa Claus?
Claustrophobic!

4. What do elves learn in school?
The elf-abet!

5. What is the difference between the Christmas alphabet and the ordinary alphabet?
The Christmas alphabet has no L (noel)!

6. Which Christmas carol do parents like best?
Silent Night!

7. What do snowmen eat for breakfast?
Frosted Flakes!

8. What doe you get when you cross a snowman with a vampire?
Frostbite!

9. What do you call a reindeer wearing ear muffs?
Anything you want--he can't hear you!

10. What's the best thing to give your parents for Christmas?
A list of everything you want!

11. Why do Mummies like Christmas so much?
Because of all the wrapping!

12. What did the dog breeder get when she crossed an Irish Setter with a Pointer at Christmastime?
A pointsetter?

13. And finally, A Christmas thought:

STRESSED is just DESSERTS spelled backward!

Hey, loved that last one. Next time I'm stressed, which I'm sure will be at some point today, I'll try to think backward (smile).

Ohmysgosh ... reading your list brings back wonderful memories of teaching elementary school and almost makes me wish I still did ... almost :)

I especially like #2, 4, 5, and 9 ... but before I retired, I would have appreciated #13! I've got T-13s posted at BOTH my blogs this morning and hope you'll stop by.
Hugs and blessings,

#1 has always been my favorite. #9 made me LOL, and I cannot for the life of me hear The First Noel w/o thinking "no l". which is a shame, since that's one of my favorite Christmas songs!
Happy Thursday!

Those are really cute. I think I've always subconsciously understood the connected between STRESSED and DESSERTS, sigh....The Flatland Almanack --Damozel (adorable animals behaving oddly)

I have a fondness for corny jokes like these. I never realized until now what "Stressed" spelled backwards was.
